RE/DONE x UPCYCLE

Amid the uncertainty of the 2020 pandemic, RE/DONE returned to its roots — reimagining timeless classics through local, responsible craftsmanship. Known for pioneering upcycled denim in collaboration with Levi’s, the brand responded to the moment by launching a dedicated upcycled capsule, fully sourced and produced in Los Angeles. The capsule featured one-of-a-kind pieces made from abandoned garments — including upcycled Levi’s denim styles, vintage Western shirts, refurbished leather jackets, sweatshirts, patched babydoll dresses crafted from silk scarves, and knitwear reassembled from vintage sweaters. The campaign also included vegan leather sneakers crafted from recycled plastic bottles. I directed the capsule, from concept and design to sourcing and development and helped embed upcycling as a lasting pillar in RE/DONE’s narrative.
